Cart Driver LoHi Wedding: Haley & Kyle
Every now and then I randomly think to myself, if Mark & I were to get married again, what would we want to do differently. Obviously we can’t get married again but it’s a fun hypothetical to ponder, especially when we are a part of dozens of weddings every year. After photographing Haley & Kyle’s wedding last October, I can tell you with certainty, this is the kind of wedding I would want to have.
Haley & Kyle basically hosted a decadent pizza party, and during it, they got married.
It started with the gathering of their closest friends at the historic Henry Lee House. They got ready in the same house and decided to pass on a formal “first look”, making for a really beautiful natural moment when they met each other in the entryway. After a few photos with family and friends, we made our way a few blocks down the street to Cart Driver Lo-hi. Their ceremony was short, but so sweet. For the three hours following, the well-oiled machine that is Cart Driver churned out some incredible food. Everyone ate, drank, and basked in the merriment of the day. The night ended at ESP HiFi, a listening bar in the Sante Fe Art District.
TLDR; you can’t go wrong with a marriage-themed dinner party.
